Full vehicle history check
Everything the free check shows, plus the records that are not public: what the car owes, what has been claimed against it, who has owned it and for how long, whether it has worn a different plate or a different colour, and what it is actually worth today. Then we read all of it and tell you what it means.

What the Pro check adds
Eleven registers and feeds, merged into one report and cross-referenced against each other rather than printed side by side.
- Outstanding finance
- Every agreement registered against the car: the lender, the agreement type and date, and the term — so you can see whether it should have ended by now.
- Write-off and insurance records
- The category, the date of loss, the insurer and whether a Certificate of Destruction was issued.
- Stolen and high-risk markers
- Police theft records and other high-risk entries, with the force holding the report.
- Mileage worked out, not just listed
- What the car covered under each owner, what it is being driven now against what it averaged over its life, and whether an advert's stated mileage agrees with the MOT record either side of it.
- Keeper history
- How many keepers, when the car changed hands, and how hard each one used it.
- Plate and colour changes
- Every previous registration and every recorded colour, with dates.
- Import, export and scrap markers
- Whether the car came from abroad, has been exported, or is recorded as scrapped.
- A real valuation
- Trade, private, forecourt and auction figures for the car's specification, struck against its actual mileage.
- Advert history where it exists
- Previous listings with their asking prices and stated mileage — an independent check on the odometer that no register can give.
- A plain-English analysis
- Written against the report's own numbers and placed beside the card it discusses, not stacked in a wall of text at the top.
- A PDF you keep
- The whole report, emailed and downloadable — the same document you see on screen.
What no history check can tell you
Every register here records something that was reported. Damage repaired privately without an insurance claim leaves no entry. A private loan secured against a car informally is not an asset-finance agreement and will not appear. A theft never reported is not on any list.
A clean report is strong evidence and it is not a guarantee. It belongs alongside an inspection and a test drive, not instead of them — which is why the report ends on what to check in person rather than on a verdict.
Where this comes from
DVLA and DVSA for the registration and test record, commercial provenance feeds for finance, write-off, theft, keeper and valuation data, and UK advert history where the vehicle has been listed.
